I was visiting a friend who I hadn’t seen in several years. The last time I had been to visit her was when I helped her move in. She has a degenerative bone disease which makes any kind of activity very painful for her.
Several of the boxes that I moved for her were in exactly the same place that I left them. It got me to thinking about my box pile down in the garage and what to do about them. The goal is not to leave them unacosted for several years, but to get them back under control sooner than later.
Time juggling is an interesting process when you are semi-disoriented to begin with. Going over the events of the past almost year, it does sound more and more like a horror story.
In other news, the place I’m working to get my mum out of and up here, just sent me an email saying, “no, we’re up to code, really.” It looks like that place is burning down too.
