Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the web-site, I had a series of shall we say disasters. That swank new link page catagory ended up taking a few years off my life. For some reason, it decided to eat all my posts. Who the hell knows.
I did get it to work more or less the way I want, following the support advice of the Randy at the WP Remix support site. Funny coincidence that. Whatever did go horribly wrong seems to have corrected itself. I’m sure whatever went wrong was something at my end, which is a happy thing, since I can self-correct easier than correcting something on the coding end.
This is a happy, late-night way of bullshitting my way out of the writing I had planned for the day and the various linking to accompany the whole process. I will say my fingers are getting itchy again, which is a good thing.
I am finding that if I plan on devoting a day to essentially wasting an entire fucking day finding a solution to something that takes less than a minute to actually fix, I get less frustrated, more angry, a trade-off to be sure, but my choice to turn on the computer. I’m way past using this thing as a spell-checker.
