Started hacking away at the new, improved, multi-faceted tools of the day. Yes, the official work of the day, building a new site is underway. Weirdly, someone from France wants to partner with me for some strange reason. Given, I stopped writing regularly, over five months or more, depending on your view, I assumed I was dealing with a spammer, but in fact a human one, none the less.
When I last threw up my hands in web-madness disgust, as I recall it didn’t have much to do with working on the site, as I will say the tools have gotten much better.
I could leave site alone and get back to putting back the other messes, but I am not alone in the general frustration/thrill with the development that is wordpress. Much of what used to kick my ass is now built in, so having to maintain multiple sites with a variety of tools, is hopefully coming to a close, basically running it off one or two installs of WordPress, which shouldn’t drive me to grief.
I am going to keep the martial arts and kitty stuff – lest you think I forgot about the kitties. one of them has 13,000+ hits on Youtube, which is kind of cool, but not all that helpful in the scheme of things.
One plug-in that I just put on this site is something called after the deadline, which will hopefully make my writing more effervescent, but I would not hold my breath. I’ve somewhat chucked the idea of the National Novel Writing Contest for this month, but maybe not, I actually can crank out 5,000 word days, when the spirit moves. I have the idea, basically, the sequel to last year’s epic, which is partially on display up there on the site. I will say right now 500 words a day is kicking my ass, but so be it.
The project that I am supposed to be working on, – the project that cannot be named has taken something of a backseat the last couple of weeks. I made the mistake of sitting down and attempting to write while on Jury Duty.
The end result was a fictional character’s fictional attempt to write a Musical Epic “Adam’s BrokeRib Mountain” – This time, he’s poking for justice.”
He’s black, he’s white, he’s muslim, he’s christian, he’s thinking bi, he’s thinking transgender, what a plot bender, so they adopt, Chinese Hassidic boys, one to be raised as a boy, the other, a goi, things are going along great, but then, they end up on opposite sides of a lawsuit, hilarity breaks out all over.

In other news, the martial arts stuff is taking off, I have broke the 10 semi-regular barrier, which is kind of awesome, and it does require a different kind of thinking, since I am usually working with one or two guys. Anyway, a cool challenge, since I have to actually about group organization, which is within my abilities, I haven’t had to do it for this sort of thing.
