I know. I went away for the weekend for a whale watching adventure off Santa Cruz, which turned out to be a good time. It rained for the first hour or so, but after that it cleared up.
We saw several whales, traveled along-side a pair for about an hour, then wandered off and saw a bunch more. They weren’t too impressed with us though. One of them gave us the full back to tail whale goodness, but most of them came up for a couple of seconds and down they went. Kind of amazing how much fun it is to see something that only shows itself for a moment or two.
In other fine news, the new computer is still down. It’s in service and as it turns out, this time it wasn’t me. Turns out the memory is defective, so they are going to swap that out for me. Planning for disaster, that is the ticket.
Other than that, I’m getting fat on the plum study, so I have issues about that. Nice to think it is all muscle, but I doubt it.
