The inspiration for movie memes came over a many year period as I slowly came to see the complete disconnect between the Darwinian-world view – meaning sociobiology, evolutionary psychology, and the standard social science model – including film theory.  I started by asking myself one simple question, “Do Movies Have a Life of There Own?”

Basically, all the people in all the universities in the world can’t tell you if a movie date is going to make or break a relationship. And guess how and where these hallowed giants of the Ivory Archipelago courted and wooed their mate? At the movies.
