This is the novel I am working on for the National Novel Writing Month competition/collaboration.
The novel is my attempt at a Howard-esk sword & sorcery novel set in modern San Francisco. It is patched together from a few sketch ideas I’ve had over the years, that went in various directions for a variety of reasons. I’m smashing a few genres together that don’t necessarily fit, but I have solved, I think, one of my biggest “yes, but,” complaints surrounding this kind of story.
